If you haven’t heard, Heroes is struggling a bit.  Just last month two of the “behind-the-scenes” forces behind Heroes, Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb, were fired due to creative differences.  Even the people I talk to these days really don’t care for the show anymore, and I can’t really blame them.  It seems the show has become a little too complicated and has too many simultaneous storylines.  Matt Parkman in Africa?  Those annoying twins?

I’m not the only one that is slighly annoyed with the new direction of the show.  Reportedly, the big shots at NBC are unhappy with the direction the show is taking, not to mention the frequent budget overruns on a show that already has a budget of $4 mil per episode.

Will Heroes be able to find the magic again or has it run its course?  I, for one, would like to see the show continue and an effort made to simplify the plot.  Return it to its previous glory, if you will.

What do you think?  Is Heroes downhill slide a signal of its imminent demise or is this just a temporary problem?
