The 20-year-old “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere comes in at No. 12 on Nerdage’s list of actresses with geek appeal. She’s probably best-known for her role as Claire Bennet on the superhero drama “Heroes,” but in 2009 also starred in the film “I Love You, Beth Cooper.” She was a prominent child actress with roles on soap operas “Guiding Light” and “One Life to Live,” and appeared as Sheryl Yoast in “Remember the Titans.”
She recently starred in a PSA aimed at stopping the slaughter of dolphins. [SOURCE]
Ok, this news is actually a few weeks old now but just in case you haven’t heard… Heroes is no more. Unable to achieve the stellar ratings of the first season, Heroes has been cancelled by NBC. It’s not really a huge surprise to most, though, as many felt the show had jumped the shark long ago. Not to worry, though, as Hayden Panettiere has managed to join the cast of the upcoming ‘Scream 4′ movie.
TMZ is reporting that Hayden Panettiere was spotted in Miami with Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko! Klitschko currently holds the IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring Magazine world heavyweight titles. He also has a PhD in Sports Science and speaks four languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, and German. Some comments on the post state that the girl in the picture is not Hayden, though, so you be the judge!
I had no idea that Hayden was dating Jesse McCartney, but apparently she was and now he has broken up with her. They were dating for less than a month!
The rumor mill is saying that Jesse went back to his ex-girlfriend Katie Cassidy, who would also be a good catch IMO, who he dated between 2005-2007. Katie’s reps are denying the rumor stating “Katie and Jesse are the greatest of friends, but there is no truth to them being back together romantically.”
Time will tell, of course. It’s not uncommon for couples to deny these things only to come out some time later to confirm.
